Q. What needs to be done to connect my Alarm to Main Security for Monitoring?

A.  To connect your alarm to Main Security Monitoring we need to send a Technician out to enable the system is turned on. This connects your alarm to our monitoring station, so signals can be received and our monitoring station can see any alarm activation's. 

 

Q. Will having my alarm monitored affect my phone and internet?

A.  No, you won't notice any change

 

Q. What is a fail to communicate (FTC) Test Signal? 

A.  An (FTC) signal is sent from your security system to Main Security to check that it is communicating correctly. A (FTC) Test Not Received signal is generated when your alarm panel fails to send this signal within the prescribed time, normally daily.
